Firtash's plant in Crimea bypassed the blockade through Odessa
The Crimean Titan plant, which belongs to the Ukrainian oligarch Dmitry Firtash, bypassed the blockade of the peninsula, receiving raw materials and selling finished products through the port of Odessa. One of the initiators of the blockade of Crimea, People's Deputy Mustafa Dzhemilev, stated this on TV channel 112.

As PolitNavigator reported, after the participants in the blockade blocked the railway line leading to the plant with concrete blocks, the enterprise was on the verge of closure, as it stopped receiving raw materials. Now Dzhemilev wants to ask the governor of the Odessa region, Mikheil Saakashvili, to look into the situation.
“We are receiving information that some products from Firtash’s plant are being transported somewhere further through the port of Odessa. We will check this, if this is so, then we will ask, of course, the administration of the Odessa region to take action. In addition, there was information that barges were smuggling some cargo through the port of Skadovsk. True, the border service said that this is not so, and they control it there and do not let anyone through. But, nevertheless, such information is received. The blockade headquarters will apparently control this port too. But we still hope that this law on a free economic zone will be repealed in the near future, and not through a blockade, but the state itself will control this,” Dzhemilev said.
