He stated this at the NATO summit in Wales, as reported on the Twitter account of the head of state.
Let us recall that Poroshenko earlier said that “he hopes that on Friday the Trilateral Contact Group will begin negotiations on the process of peaceful resolution of the situation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, and that real steps will be taken to achieve peace.”
As PolitNavigator reported, today the President of Ukraine held negotiations in the Big Five plus one format. During the meeting, the heads of NATO member states approved the dialogue between Poroshenko and Vladimir Putin, as reported by the press service of the former.
