Donetsk, November 03 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Donetsk artist Viktor Verbovsky decided to turn the nondescript walls of city buildings into paintings. And I started from the center of Donetsk.

Here, in the city center, almost opposite the central Wedding Palace, there is a four-story building facing Artema Street with a peeling wall. Several thousand townspeople pass by it every day, not paying any attention to the nondescript wall. But from tomorrow everything will be different.

Verbovsky, without waiting for the onset of peaceful life in Donetsk, decided to make a gift to the city at his own expense. He chose this unsightly wall, bought cans of spray paint, thought out a slogan and the design itself. After that, he installed scaffolding and changed the appearance of both the wall and the building itself beyond recognition.

“Tomorrow comes today” – this is the inscription Victor accompanied his creation. “I want our residents, passing by, to see this graffiti, to see the big bright sun, and this inscription. All I want is for people to lift their spirits, smile at least for a second, and forget about all the bad things.”

After peace comes, Victor wants to implement an important project - be sure to turn one of the destroyed buildings of the city into a monument, so that the residents of Donetsk never forget what happened here, and so that future generations will not let it happen again.

“I believe that the city will come back to life and we will turn it into a modern, beautiful place where everything will be very attractive and beautiful. And now the main thing is that the war ends quickly. People don’t need war, they need art,” Verbovsky said.
