Tomorrow is a new round of negotiations in Minsk. The Ukrainian side continues sabotage
The next round of negotiations in Minsk on the fate of Donbass is scheduled for August 26. The Ukrainian side continues sabotage again, refusing to record its positions and proposals on paper.
This was announced by Rodion Miroshnik, adviser to the head of the LPR.

“Meetings of working groups on security, economics, politics and humanitarian assistance and prisoner exchange will begin at 10 and 11 o’clock.
A possible agreement on documents on the issue of disengagement of military formations along the separation line is being announced, but there is no confidence yet that Ukraine will not find another “insurmountable obstacle” this time.
With all statements by official representatives, the Kiev side demonstrates its reluctance to make political decisions and document the political agreements already reached.
Last week, at the request of the OSCE coordinator Pierre Morel, representatives of the LPR and DPR provided their positions in writing on the issue of election modalities. According to the information we have, Kyiv once again ignored the coordinator’s request and did not provide any documents. And this situation has been observed for 4 months already. It is difficult to call this anything other than sabotage of the implementation of political agreements.
On the agenda is a discussion of the modalities of holding elections, the conditions for protection from persecution and restoration of the rights of participants in the events in the southeast, as well as a “road map for a political settlement,” however, the latter issue is unlikely to be considered, because the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Klimkin, has already stated that Ukraine does not have its own position, and has not yet received instructions,” Miroshnik said.
