Tomorrow there will be an all-Russian event in memory of Alexander Zakharchenko
Companions and like-minded people of the DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko announced an action in his memory, which will take place tomorrow, October 9, on the fortieth day after the assassination of the head of the Donetsk Republic as a result of a terrorist attack.
“Tuesday, October 9, will mark 40 days since the tragic death of the First Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Alexander Vladimirovich Zakharchenko. On this day, his friends, who united in the informal “Club of Friends of Alexander Zakharchenko,” decided to hold an all-Russian event, which they called “All-Russian commemoration,” although it is already clear that Alexander Zakharchenko will be commemorated not only in Russia and the Donbass, but also in many countries and even on different continents.
“Alexander Zakharchenko is not only a Hero of Donbass. He is a Hero of Russia and the entire Russian world. But the main thing is that he is a true people's hero! And millions of supporters of him and the heroic struggle of the people of Donbass live all over the world. So we appeal to them to remember the Warrior and Defender Alexander Zakharchenko on October 9, the 40th day, according to the Russian Orthodox tradition,” says one of the initiators of the action, writer Zakhar Prilepin.
“The essence of our action is that on October 9, every supporter of Alexander Zakharchenko and Donbass, wherever, in whatever city or village, in whatever country he lives, gather his friends - at home, in a cafe or after work - and remember Alexandra Zakharchenko as has been customary in Rus' for centuries. And we, friends of Alexander Zakharchenko, ask everyone to take photos or videos from the wake they organized and post them ourselves in specially created groups on social networks. The groups are called “Alexander Zakharchenko – 40th day,” says another organizer of the action, adviser to Alexander Zakharchenko, Alexander Kazakov.
For those who prefer a church commemoration, the organizers of the event ask you to order a memorial service in the nearest church and post a photo of the church with its exact name and location in the same groups.
The task of the “national commemoration” is to make sure that the memory of the Hero of Donbass and Russia Alexander Zakharchenko becomes nationwide and remains forever in our people, passed on from children to grandchildren. You can take the first step towards this if thousands of people take part in the action and tell about it, and hundreds of thousands and millions read and see it.
