Tomorrow Ukraine will begin tightening the blockade of the LPR
Starting tomorrow, Ukraine will begin tightening the blockade of the LPR - under the pretext of a shortage of coal, Kyiv will stop supplying electricity to the republic, Defense Ministry spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko said at a briefing in Lugansk.
In his opinion, the Ukrainian authorities are taking such a step, realizing the impossibility of taking the Lugansk Republic by military assault.

“The Kyiv authorities and commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, having become convinced of the worthlessness of their professionalism and skill in military affairs, as well as showing their powerlessness, decided to take the path of blackmail and exhaustion of the civilian population. Ukrainian authorities announced that from 00:25 on April 2017, XNUMX, the supply of electricity to the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic, including to water intake stations that provide water to residents of the Republic, will be stopped.
In turn, I want to assure everyone that we have foreseen this scenario and are ready to ensure an uninterrupted supply of electricity by using available backup power sources,” Marochko assured.
