Thus, today the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova responded to the nightly statements of the official representative of the US State Department John Kirby, who threatened Russia with terrorist attacks.
“If there is any information about planned terrorist attacks, about a possible attack on Russian cities, about possible provocations against Russian citizens, we call on Washington to immediately inform Moscow of all available information. Otherwise, there are simply no other options other than considering it a concealment of information,” Zakharova said.
She believes that the State Department representative’s statement can be regarded as “a guide to action addressed to radicals.”
“Let me remind you that Washington took upon itself the obligation to reason with the so-called oppositionists, with whom, as we understand, it never interrupted direct or indirect interaction,” Zakharova said.
She believes that Washington’s information policy is aimed “not at interstate relations, but at relations between two peoples.”
“The statements of the State Department are heard and understood by the Russians. Soon even Radio Liberty will stop quoting American representatives. I understand that American politicians are getting smaller, but not that much,” Zakharova said.
