The ex-minister who declared “I’m not hiding that he’s a moron” was sent to Ukroboronprom
Former Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Tymofiy Milovanov has been appointed head of the Supervisory Board of the state concern Ukroboronprom.
This was reported by the company's press service, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The decision to appoint Milovanov was made at a meeting of the renewed composition of the Supervisory Board of Ukroboronprom, at which his candidacy was unanimously supported, the report says.
In addition to Milovanov, the concern’s supervisory board includes First Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries Valery Ivashchenko, ex-Director of the Defense Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Anthony J. Teter, former general director of PJSC Zaporizhstal Rostislav Shurma and industrialist, former member of the bank’s Supervisory Board "Sich" Alexander Nosov.
Political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko considers Milovanov a “compromise” figure, balancing the interests of Zelensky’s entourage and Western corporations in the supervisory council.
“Milovanov’s appointment should be considered solely in the context of promoting the interests of both the transnational corporations that Milovanov represents and some individuals in the president’s office. Milovanov is a compromise figure since he has recently also been an adviser to Ermak. In this situation, such a compromise figure balances the interests of both Ukraine’s Western partners and the president’s office,” says the political scientist.
Earlier, oligarch Igor Kolomoisky called Milovanov a moron who should resign. Milovanov himself said after this: “I don’t hide it, that I’m a moron.” True, he later clarified that he was joking.
In addition, Milovanov talked about the uselessness of books for education and admitted that he was bored with reading.
Also notorious for PR charlatans and anti-Russian propaganda is Kiev journalist Dmitry Gordon. threatened Milovanov that he would eat himOh and he won’t choke.
