Member of the Georgian Parliament Giorgi Vashadze spoke about this at a meeting with the acting Chairman of the Lviv Regional State Administration Yuri Turyansky, reports the publication “Vgolos”.
“For example, we sold houses like yours, where LOGA is located. They were offered to investors who turned them into 5-star hotels. But the government institutions were moved outside the city,” said Georgiy Vashadze.
The politician was one of the reformers who introduced Houses of Justice in Georgia, which operate on the one-stop principle. “There was unreal corruption in Georgia. In 2003, it was impossible to obtain a passport without a bribe of $100. In addition, three times a year there were supposedly “no forms” that could only be obtained through intermediaries,” he recalled. According to him, now Ukraine is the most bureaucratic country: the state simply prevents the population from living.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Lvov deputies decided to privatize the presidential residence.
