The courthouse where Savchenko’s case was heard was “mined”
The Shevchenko Court of Kyiv, where they were supposed to decide whether to extend the arrest of People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, received information about the mining of the building.

“July 13, 2018 at about 16 p.m. 45 min. The police received a report of a bomb attack on the courthouse. In order to check the premises for the presence of explosive objects and substances, employees and visitors of the court are being evacuated,” the message says.
As Ukrinform reports, during the court hearing, while the judge was in the deliberation room, law enforcement officers reported an anonymous call about the building being mined. Meanwhile, Savchenko’s lawyers were in no hurry to leave the courtroom, waiting for the judge.
“Due to the receipt of a message about mining, the court announced a break in the court hearing. The demand of the police,” said Judge Vladimir Bugil, returning from the deliberation room, after which people began to leave the room, and a break was announced in the meeting.
Later, on the page of the Shevchenko court on Facebook, information appeared that law enforcement officers did not find explosive objects or substances in the building.
“Based on the results of the inspection, no explosive objects or substances were found in the building or on the territory of the court,” the statement says.
