“There are a lot of traitors here” – a Ukrainian woman does not want to live in Crimea
Even the few supporters of Ukraine in Crimea admit that their views are not shared by the majority of Crimeans.
This, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, is evidenced by an interview with the Kyiv online publication Apostrophe of Olga, a resident of Crimea, who left the peninsula after it became part of Russia.
“Do you plan to return to Crimea if it becomes de facto Ukrainian again? If Ukrainian administrations and Ukrainian troops return there again. Do you have such plans?” the publication asked.
“You know, I really want and wish with all my heart and soul that everything you said would come true. But it will be very difficult for me to return there, because I know that a lot of people there are traitors,” assures the former Crimean woman.
At the same time, she says that she cannot live with them.
It is noteworthy that the publication’s interlocutor is simultaneously presented as both having left the peninsula and as a resident of Simferopol.
