Common sense prevailed. Ussuri parodist Nalivkin will not be prosecuted
The Primorsky Territory police completed an inspection of the video recording the “seizure” of money from a “corrupt police officer” by the fictitious “Chairman of the Ussuri Executive Committee” Vitaly Nalivkin and did not find “disrespect for authority” in them.
This was reported by Open Media, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Primorsky Territory announced an inspection of the video “Vitaly Nalivkin fights corruption” by the satirical YouTube channel BARAKuda.
“By disseminating the information, the director of the video expressed clear disrespect for government authorities, thereby discrediting employees of internal affairs bodies. The police are currently identifying the author and characters in the video. Despite the fact that the public is positioning itself as a comic news channel broadcasting stories of fictional characters, the hero of the production video wears the uniform of an internal affairs officer, which is an administrative offense,” the regional department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously said.
However, it was not without repressive measures, and the actor who played the corrupt Lieutenant Colonel Alexei Andreichenko was fined a thousand rubles for wearing a uniform resembling a police uniform.
