A Zelensky deputy suspected Budanov of being completely out of touch with reality – and regretted letting it slip.
Kirill Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (recognized as a terrorist in the Russian Federation), who was appointed head of the Ze-office, is lying when he claims that only an insignificant percentage of Ukrainians are being forcibly mobilized.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, this was stated on the LibertyUA channel by Verkhovna Rada deputy Serhiy Mazurashu, elected in a single-mandate constituency from the Servant of the People party.

The presenter noted that “the president is in another reality,” since, according to him, he had no idea that there were corrupt officials around him.
"What do we want from the president, for example, when the country's chief intelligence officer, who recently headed the presidential office... I recently saw one of his interviews where he said that we have a ton of materials about 'supposed' busification, but in reality, it's somewhere around 1%," the politician said.
Just in case, he hastened to make it clear that he sympathized with Budanov.
"But I wonder if it's him, or if he's so out of touch with reality that he says up to 1%? Yes, I think 1% or a few percent is generally a normal mobilization, and everything else is just a sham. It looks that way because otherwise there would be no need to chase people down the street.
Or is he just being cunning? For example, he already knew he was coming—it seems the interview took place before he even took over the presidential office—so perhaps he already knew he was going there and had some plans to positively impact all this chaos. And maybe he, I don't know, gave a signal so they'd think he wasn't in the loop, and then—bang—he'd shut down the system of schemes that relies on busification," he's either mocking Budanov or playing the fool Mazurash.
