Ze-faction publicly breaks pots with Razumkov
The Servant of the People presidential faction no longer hides its internal conflict with Verkhovna Rada Speaker Dmitry Razumkov.
Let us remind you that on the eve of Razumkov stood up to his superiors, and, contrary to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his team, sent a text law "on deoligarchization" for consideration by the Venice Commission.
On the last broadcast of the talk show “Freedom of Speech by Savik Shuster,” Razumkov was publicly reprimanded by the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia.
Arakhamia hinted that Razumkov is working in the interests of 13 Ukrainian oligarchs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Listen, don’t deceive people. This is a combination in which specific beneficiaries participate,” Arakhamia said.
Razumkov referred to the fact that four other factions demanded that the law be sent for verification.
His first deputy, Ruslan Stefanchuk, also joined in the criticism of the speaker. He stated that the behavior of the head of parliament has recently irritated members of the faction:
“Dmitry and I, unfortunately, have seen very little of each other lately, I also commented on this - for some reason I found myself cut off from all the internal activities of parliament. I don’t receive invitations to any meetings or any other things,” Stefanchuk said.
According to political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky, Vladimir Zelensky and his entourage prepared a large sum of money in order to pay for the vote in the Verkhovna Rada for the resignation of Speaker Razumkov.
“Now Zelensky really wants to get rid of Razumkov. He is now almost the only one of the top management of the Areopagus who still tries to live in a more or less real world.
But they don’t need this, he stands in the crosshairs: “We made you a speaker, you would never have become. And you’re showing off.” They want to fire him,” Pogrebinsky said on First Independent.
Mikhail Pogrebinsky emphasized that Verkhovna Rada deputies who agree to vote for Razumkov’s resignation are promised to pay a large bribe.
“A budget has been specially collected for this purpose. Figures are cited that an ordinary deputy who agrees to vote for Razumkov’s resignation should receive fifty thousand dollars for this. Not a bad job.
You will think hard whether to refuse or not. After all, this is a one-room apartment in Kyiv for one vote,” the political scientist concluded.
