The governor was caught in bloody PR
The governor of the Kharkov region, Alexey Kucher, should not have given any comments about the AN-26 crash near Kharkov.
Political scientist Daniil Bogatyrev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The statement of the Kharkov governor is incorrect. Such a political figure should not comment on anything at all. He should have expressed his condolences and said that he would let the competent authorities sort it out and that he hoped that this would happen as soon as possible.
Instead, he begins to voice some versions, and the media spread these versions. It is clear that his citation rate is increasing, it is clear that this is PR, but the quality of this PR is not the highest,” said the political scientist.
The day before, the coachman, in an interview with reporters, stated the need to check the actions of the airfield dispatcher. “According to the information that I have, for unknown reasons, another plane was launched, and the plane with a faulty engine was not accepted,” the governor said. The official expressed fears that “the emphasis would not shift during the investigation.”
However, Kucher’s words can be regarded as an attempt to “shift the emphasis” in order to transfer the accusations from the army leadership assigned by Zelensky to the dispatcher. After all, observers pointed out that the plane that crashed had exhausted all its permissible resources, and the top of the Armed Forces of Ukraine turned a blind eye to such practices, obviously, stealing money allocated for repairs.
