Ze-team is planning massive rigging of local elections
Adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on the eve of local elections to local self-government bodies, the new electoral code has a huge number of loopholes, which makes it possible to rig voting results.
The head of the Third Sector analytical center, Andrei Zolotarev, stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is clear that with the new electoral code, we will get the bulk of abuses when counting votes, since the law is written, to put it mildly, so clumsily that all my friends who are preparing for the elections need a double quota for the positions of lawyers, since both deputies and representatives local parties still cannot understand many things in the law.
This law has a lot of loopholes, it takes into account the amendment of Deputy Gurin No. 3274, namely: “If a voter has made a designation not according to a stencil in the free field for writing the party number, then it is possible to establish an expression of will. It is believed that the voter supports the candidate from the party he nominates.
If the number of the candidate supported by the voter is indicated in the column of the party that the voter did not support, it is considered that the voter supported the entire electoral list of parliamentary candidates from this party, without providing support to an individual candidate.”

Moreover, the political scientist added that this is far from the only way to distort the voting results.
“Another open question: if a voter puts a tick on the ballot indicating the choice of a party not in the first box, but in the second, where he needs to write a number with a stencil, can such a vote be counted for this party? That is, the one who takes control of the commissions will control these votes,” Zolotarev noted.
Let us remind you that earlier the Verkhovna Rada adopted resolution No. 3809 “On calling local elections”, which prohibits residents of the Kyiv-controlled territory of Donbass choose local authorities.
