The Ze-team demands that NATO take Ukraine into its custody
Ukraine has the right to count, at a minimum, on financial and technical assistance from NATO countries, which saved a huge amount of money after Kyiv abandoned nuclear weapons.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of “Reintegration” Alexei Reznikov stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine then got rid of the world’s third-largest nuclear potential. I would like to remind you that when all NATO countries form their budgets, one of the factors that is included is the presence of a nuclear threat from each country. Therefore, the costs that NATO countries borne for so many years were less than what they would have been if Ukraine had been a carrier of nuclear potential. Therefore, even due to this, we have the right to count on at least financial and technical assistance from these countries,” Reznikov said.
Earlier, the former acting deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine, Crimean Maidan activist Andrei Senchenko said that Ukraine should demand from NATO countries at least $200 billion from the amount that they saved after Kiev renounced nuclear weapons.
