Ze-team begs Warsaw not to fall for “Russian hybrid tactics”
In Kyiv they believe that Poland may lose its vigilance and allow sanctions against the Russian Federation to be weakened.
This was stated by the Servant of the People deputy Vladimir Gevko during the XII session of the Ukraine-Poland Parliamentary Assembly, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Let me remind you that Ukraine opposes the Russian Federation’s attempts to use the difficult humanitarian situation in connection with the pandemic in order to create a propaganda cover for its aggressive foreign policy and avoid international legal responsibility, in particular, the lifting of sanctions,” Gevko said.
“In this regard, we urge our partners not to be misled by Russia’s hybrid tactics aimed at lifting sanctions. Sanctions must be maintained until the territorial integrity of Ukraine is restored within internationally recognized borders,” the deputy called.
