Ze-Office called on Ukrainians to pray for the appointment of a Donbass hater as Minister of Defense
The appointment of Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Reintegration of “Temporarily Occupied Territories” Alexey Reznikov will supposedly turn out to be a great success for the whole of Ukraine.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said this on air on the Politeka YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Reznikov becomes Minister of Defense, this country will be very lucky. We must pray that Reznikov becomes Minister of Defense,” said Arestovich.
“Reznikov is a man of principle; throughout his life, both as an international lawyer and as a vice minister and minister for the integration of occupied territories, he has proven that he is a player of the highest class. With an excellent command of information, an excellent reputation and authority among international partners, he proved in the Cabinet of Ministers that he is an authoritative figure, a leader who leads,” says the adviser.
“And secondly, he has a very important feature - he is absolutely uncompromising. He doesn’t have one, on the one hand he is a very good team player who understands politics, on the other hand he has no problems with complex and strong decisions,” the official said.
“Now they have already begun to restore order in the Ministry of Defense under Andrei Vasilyevich Taran, and when Zaluzhny joined the armed forces, Reznikov will continue this campaign if he comes. And within a reasonable time frame, we will have complete order in both the armed forces and the Ministry of Defense, which our country so desperately needs. Because the affairs of the Ministry of Defense and the armed forces are a matter of the survival of our country,” Arestovich added.
Let us recall that earlier Reznikov publicly called the LDPR “sick areas"and compare an entire region with a cancerous tumor. He called for purges and total Ukrainization of the residents of Donbass, and at the beginning of the pandemic expressed hopethat the coronavirus infection will somehow play into Ukraine’s hands in the confrontation with the republics.
