Ze-office: APU being driven into cauldrons
Ukraine has big problems in the area of Slavyansk and Lisichansk, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing village after village.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said this on the video blog of fugitive Russian liberal Mark Feigin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have big problems near Severodonetsk and Lisichansk. They sent at least three battalion-tactical groups in this direction, but since the troops there are so exhausted, even this is a very weighty weight, and this weight worked. Toshkovka was taken a long time ago and they are trying to advance to the north, closing it, then to Mirnaya Dolina, to Rai-Aleksandrovka and from Vrubievka they are hitting there too,” the official said.
“The task is to close Zolote and Gorskoye into a tactical encirclement. And the threat of this closure is very real. They moved to Belaya Gora, to Borovskoye, to Sirotino. This is directly near Severodonetsk and Lisichansk; local battles are also taking place there, which pose a certain danger.
We lost Metelkino near Severodonetsk and their tactics of cutting up encirclements, apparently, are now the main technique and method of conducting combat operations. Since the troops were deployed, mainly in this direction, they immediately saw success there,” Arestovich said.
