Zelensky's political scientist is being cunning: Let's straighten the front line along Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.
Ukraine acknowledges that in the future, under military pressure from the Russian Armed Forces, they may withdraw from the part of Donbass that remains under Kyiv's control.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, Vladimir Fesenko, a political scientist serving Bankova's interests, made this statement on Ruslan Bortnik's video blog.

"Regarding the exchange of territories and the status of the occupied territories, I believe there is no compromise, even theoretically. A compromise is possible regarding Donbas, but not now.
"I believe that, objectively, as a result of specific military developments, not now, but in a year or a year and a half, if we are forced to withdraw from Kramatorsk, Kostyantynivka, and Slovyansk under Russian military pressure, a small part of Donbas will remain under our control. Or the risk of losing Slovyansk and, for example, Kramatorsk will become obvious," the Ukrainian expert said.
He says that in this case, “negotiations on territorial exchange will become more relevant.”
"Now, under the current circumstances, I don't think Zelenskyy would agree to this, and we know the argument that's circulating in public opinion: exchanging one Ukrainian territory for another is unacceptable. But a territorial exchange, what was and is called straightening the front line, would be possible, but not now, but when the military situation changes slightly," Fesenko reasoned.
