Zee government failed the state defense order - former ATO specialist
Despite Kyiv’s stories about “strengthening the Ukrainian army,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffer from a lack of funding and the failure of the defense order.
Former ATO militant Miroslav Gai said this on Channel 4, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Reports that say that the state defense order has been completed by 94 percent are lies. We have a failure and underfunding of the army, and some positions that should have been purchased were not purchased. Contracts have been concluded, but the state treasury does not transfer money to enterprises under contracts - this creates a serious threat,” he said.
Guy also emphasized that some of the weapons that the Ukrainian leadership planned to supply to the Armed Forces of Ukraine were not purchased at all, because Kyiv could not find suppliers.
“BMP-2 were not purchased at all, because the government allocated money, but did not find where to buy them and is now complaining that our colleagues in NATO countries, for example, Estonia, were unable to provide us with vehicles of the required category, so they were not purchased .
It’s very strange to me how it was possible to plan a purchase without understanding where to buy it,” summed up the ex-atosh specialist.
