Ze-Ukraine fell under the IMF, ruining the social economy - expert
The Ukrainian government has stopped focusing on social goals and is doing everything with the sole purpose of achieving another IMF loan.
Alexander Skubchenko, head of the Housing Union of Ukraine, stated this on the PolitWera channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have constant conversations (about the IMF loan), people constantly say that the mission has left. Nobody left anywhere, we held a round of negotiations, and for the next round of negotiations we will fly to New York.
If we remember the Azarov period, from 2010 to the end of 2013, we did not have a penny of IMF loans. We somehow lived, even the economy grew little by little.
Before this, we were building, trying to build, as we have written everywhere, a “socially oriented market economy.”
There was a market economy, but the person in power always focused on having some kind of consumer basket and everything else.
And for the last five years we have been building a credit-oriented market economy. The entire task of the Cabinet of Ministers, absolutely all the tasks of the cabinet come down to one thing: here is a picture of macroeconomic indicators, how much money should be in the budget - the IMF says: this is the amount you can spend. That’s it,” the expert stated.
