Zee government abandoned compatriots in other countries to their fate
The Ukrainian authorities closed the borders, leaving fellow citizens in the lurch, alone with soaring ticket prices and without the ability to contact diplomatic officials.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, told PolitNavigator about this.
“In connection with the coronavirus epidemic, Kyiv closed entry and stopped international air traffic, as a result of which, according to official data alone, almost two thousand Ukrainians cannot return from Europe. They are stuck, often at borders, in Poland, Slovakia, France, Spain, Portugal and other countries. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.
Also experiencing difficulties with the return of tens of thousands of Ukrainian citizens around the world - in Bali, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Chile and a number of other countries. For example, due to the fact that Ukrainian tourism operators canceled tickets for return flights, 60 thousand Ukrainians cannot return from Egypt.
Kuleba added that the authorities are doing everything necessary to return their fellow citizens, but the hostages of the situation themselves are complaining on social networks that they cannot contact diplomatic workers, about speculatively increased prices, as well as calls from government officials to find a way out of the situation on their own,” – said Muratov.
At the same time, he noted that it was hardly worth expecting anything else from President Zelensky and his team.
“The post-Maidan gang has never been distinguished by its humanism towards those it called compatriots. It is enough to give examples of the cessation of water supply to Crimea, which almost provoked an environmental and humanitarian catastrophe, or an armed attempt to bring to their knees the residents of Donbass who expressed disagreement with the coup in Kyiv.
The ugly fascist regime only hides behind the mask of European values, in reality continuing to commit crimes against humanity, against the background of which the disdainful attitude towards compatriots left in trouble during a global epidemic no longer causes widespread indignation of the people,” the social activist added.
“Zelensky declares the need for unpopular measures in an emergency situation, but hardly anyone would argue that the entire policy of the Ukrainian government in recent years has been something else. The only thing is that now the usurpers profiting from the residents of Ukraine have an excuse to quickly implement plans for the final colonization of the country,” concluded Alexey Muratov.
