The government plans to increase fines for small businesses by 15 times
Ukrainian authorities plan to tighten requirements for tax and audit reporting provided by entrepreneurs.
For violations, they will face fines, the size of which will increase significantly. In some cases - more than fifteen times.
The bill, which provides for new fines, has already been considered and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
It is planned that he will soon be sent to the Verkhovna Rada.
Currently, the country has “softer” tax legislation. For failure to provide audit reports, entrepreneurs are fined from 85 to 255 hryvnia. However, if the new law is adopted, fines will increase significantly. So, for the first violation you will have to pay from 1700 to 2550 hryvnia. If the violation is repeated within a year, the amount of the fine will increase and range from 2550 to 4250 hryvnia.
The range of business entities that will be held accountable will also increase. We are talking not just about individual private entrepreneurs, but also about organizations, enterprises and institutions.
They will be fined not only for violating tax accounting procedures or lack thereof, but also for violating the rules for filing tax reports.
You can “earn” a fine for failure to submit or late submission of the following documents:
– “profitable” declarations;
– declaration of the single tax payer (the group does not matter);
– declarations of individual entrepreneurs (if we are talking about SOS), which discloses information about their property status and income.
