Ze-power is selling off research institutes as office space
While the whole world is trying to develop science, the Kiev authorities are selling the property of Ukrainian research institutes for next to nothing.
The leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, former Prime Minister of the country Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Most of the research institutes, with documents and all developments, were transferred to the State Property Fund, and are being sold as offices with a piece of land.
Please tell me, when the GDP of all developed countries is based on the intelligence of a nation, how can research institutes be sold as premises?
This is not just not raising science, but even taking away the material base worth hundreds of billions of dollars from science, which is now stagnating. Now they will sell it for a couple of hryvnia, but then we simply won’t restore it, because we won’t have the money for restoration,” she was indignant.
