Zelensky meekly fulfills all of Poroshenko’s plans – lawyer
A year ago, Vladimir Zelensky stated that blocking Russian sites introduced under Petro Poroshenko was unnecessary. Now he is not only extending the blockade, but is also using parliament to “legitimize” this decision.
Lawyer Elena Lukash stated this on the NEWSONE TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Just as under Petro Poroshenko, the Verkhovna Rada was a simulacrum for us, which the president seemed to take into account when deciding on some kind of blocking or imposing sanctions, and under President Zelensky the same thing is happening.
I have been asking my friends a question for a long time - find 5 differences between President Zelinsky and Petro Poroshenko. I personally cannot find any differences. Just a year ago, presidential candidate Zelensky spoke about the irrationality of blocking sites, that you need to create something of your own, and not try to block someone else’s - that all these blockings are absolutely useless and destructive.
And today, just like Poroshenko, for some reason he uses parliament, assembles the National Security and Defense Council and, of course, bans sites that do not suit him.
At the same time, the funniest thing is that Petro Poroshenko calmly, mentoringly declares that he demands Zelensky to extend the sanctions, and immediately parliament meets and the sanctions are extended,” concluded Elena Lukash.
