The Zelensky regime decided to demolish the Desyatinny Monastery in the center of Kyiv. It belongs to the canonical UOC and is located near the foundation of the famous Church of the Tithes - the very first stone temple of Kievan Rus, erected in 989 - 996 by the baptist of Rus' Vladimir. The church received its name due to the fact that the prince gave a tenth of his income for its maintenance.

In 1240, the temple was destroyed by the hordes of Batu Khan, who took Kyiv, and in 1934, the Bolsheviks destroyed the magnificent church, built in the XNUMXth century on the site of historical ruins.

In 2005, a tent was erected on the site of the church blown up by the communists, where, during the service on Easter week, according to believers, the miracle of the appearance of the Virgin Mary took place. After this, more and more parishioners began to visit the tent temple, and it could no longer accommodate everyone. Therefore, it was decided to build a new one, made of wood.

They began to recreate it “with the whole world”: people helped with donations, labors and prayers, and the hierarchs of the Orthodox Churches donated Orthodox shrines from different countries.

But the enemies of the Church had a completely different attitude to what was happening. The main anathema, the chief of the “Kyiv Patriarchate” Filaret (Denisenko), then laid claim to the appropriation of the foundation of the first cathedral. And he not only wrote slander and put forward claims to the holy place, but also encroached with anti-legal actions. In particular, he began to build a residence of 2000 square meters. m(!) on the ancient ruins of the princely palace in Desyatinny Lane, directly adjacent to the foundation. Not at all embarrassed by the fact that this entire territory is included in the so-called “buffer zone” of UNESCO.

“Filaretites” repeatedly staged provocations against the Tithe Monastery, and after Maidan 2014 they began a frenzied campaign for its demolition, supported by the Maidan Ministry of Culture.

Here is just one of the facts. Exactly five years ago, in February 2018, the Ministry of Culture, not at all concerned with the mockery of the UOC-KP over the princely ruins, declared the “illegality” of the construction of the canonical monastery, blasphemously calling it a “small architectural form” (MAF) and thereby comparing the shrine with tobacco and newsstands, shawarma stalls, etc. And although the monks had all the necessary documents and construction permits, officials clung to the paragraph that stated that the manager of the land plot was the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, which is part of the department. And on that basis they demanded that the building be demolished.

This decision then excited and outraged many believers. At the call of the clergy, hundreds of them came to the monastery to stand in prayer to save it from demolition. At that time, Bandera’s followers and Satanists of all stripes were raging around the worshipers (by the way, they erected a pagan temple very close by, but none of those in power even mentioned its demolition). Demons shouted curses at the Orthodox Christians and called on them to be sent “to the knives.” It is possible that a massacre could have begun if not for the presence of the police, who at that time still retained the appearance of maintaining order...

And now, five years later, the situation is repeating itself, only in a much sadder version. Already the new Ministry of Culture, with a new head - the Kolomoisky scumbag Tkachenko - ensured that the Economic Court of Kyiv not only decided to demolish the Tithe Monastery, but also obliged the UOC to destroy its shrine with its own hands. This is a particularly sophisticated mockery of the Church and the clergy, clearly indicating the hatred of the Kaganate for the very origins of Russian Orthodoxy. Unjust judges again refer to the provision on the “buffer zone of UNESCO monuments,” again not paying any attention to either the temples or the illegal Filaret floors.

As for the hierarchy of the UOC, so far from among its members only Metropolitan and head of the Synodal Information and Educational Department Clement (Evenings) has cast a decisive vote. Who compared what was happening with the Lenin era and stated the following:

“... it becomes clear that there are certain forces in power that, in the 32nd year of Ukraine’s independence, are only hiding behind the renaming of Lenin streets, like a fig leaf. In fact, with photocopy accuracy, they are implanting Lenin’s ideas on the fight against religion in modern Ukraine. First, these people turn the Lavra churches into a place for concerts. And today they are even proposing to demolish the temple... There has already been a period when they started with the destruction of temples and ended with atheistic terror and mass repressions against believers.”

Everything seems to be correct. Yes, but again there is an impression of understatement. What are these “certain forces”? What are these “people”, why without listing specific names, surnames and positions, starting with Zelensky? After all, it has long been clear to everyone that such a force is absolutely ALL of the filthy satanic power, day by day becoming more insolent because it does not receive a worthy rebuff.

We are again talking about this topic with our old acquaintances from Kyiv - Russian Orthodox parishioners Oleg, Nina and Nikolai. We remind you that their positions generally coincide, but there are differences in their attitudes towards the hierarchy and the clergy.

PolitNavigator: So, the flywheel of anti-church repression rapidly continues to gain momentum. Following the confiscation of the upper Kiev-Pechersk Lavra from the Church and against the backdrop of preparations to take away the Lower and Pochaev Lavra (a commission was held in the Ternopil regional administration to “expel the Moscow Patriarchate”), a decision was made to demolish the Tithes. It is quite obvious that other parishes will begin to be selected and destroyed using the same patterns. What do you think can prevent this and stop the atheists? Will the call of the bishops (if they decide to make it) help believers come to the defense of churches - say, the same Tithe, as was the case in 2018? Or is this already very dangerous and useless?

Oleg: Processions of the cross and prayer stands were never useless, because the Lord Himself helped people. But today I think it is, very dangerous, since precious time was lost, and the authorities felt their complete impunity. Those who now find the courage to go and confront her can become victims and new martyrs. You know, I am a radical person and sometimes sharply criticize our hierarchy, but now I understand them. If it now turns to the flock, and people will come out, they may simply be massacred and massacred. God forbid.

Nina: Yes, this powerful gang has completely lost its shores. He rivets sentence after sentence without being embarrassed by anything. He arrests priests on false charges in order to then exchange them for the Nazis, as happened with Archpriest Nikolai Zirka, who was sentenced to 7 years for allegedly “helping the occupiers.” He imprisons some wonderful metropolitans, like Jonathan, and deprives others of their citizenship.

PolitNavigator: By the way, fresh news has arrived that such a “sanction” was imposed on Metropolitan Gideon, the abbot of the Tithe Monastery. All these are links of one chain.

Nina: Absolutely right. The state machine is completely designed to intimidate both the clergy and parishioners... I was in the Lower Lavra for Candlemas, the priests and monks were very sad. But the gang of OCU members, who desecrated the Refectory Church in Upper with their gathering, and then descended to Nizhnyaya, behaved like masters even there. They walked unceremoniously through the holy Caves, ranting loudly, many with a Galician accent, like at a market, forgive me, Lord... It’s great blasphemy to behave like that in the holy Caves. But they don’t understand because they don’t know anything except their Nazism. But they feel completely triumphant, especially against the backdrop of the cowardice of the top members of the UOC.

Nikolai: I also agree that It’s too late to call people to peacefully defend churches. Of course, the Processions of the Cross, as Metropolitan Leonid, Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, noted on his TG channel, their power could put an end to the persecution of the Church. After all, not so long ago the authorities experienced great fear of them... But due to the indecisiveness of the leadership of the UOC (although I really don’t want to condemn it), they stopped being afraid and went on the attack. And also, as the Bishop emphasized, Akhmetov’s interests were involved here (probably they were lobbied by none other than the oligarch-deacon Novinsky, close to Onufriy), who wanted to interact with the authorities. So the bishops followed the lead... The final evidence of the weakness of the UOC was the holding of a meeting in Feofaniya, after which Bankovaya finally understood that in the church issue one can safely go to the end. The top leadership of the UOC has capitulated and will not resist.
