Zelensky made a serious mistake
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky made a big mistake when he began to “bend in” to the demands of neo-Nazis who oppose the implementation of the Steinmeier formula signed by the Ukrainian side.
Kiev human rights activist Elena Berezhnaya announced this on the YouTube channel “PolitWera”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“Nationalists have a desire to keep people in fear and make money from it. They see this as a source of income. This is what Zelensky should have done from the very beginning of his arrival - to sort it out and set conditions for Minister Avakov, who was left to restore order with the right-wing radicals. Unfortunately, this did not happen, although almost everyone expected it.
If you noticed, the first time after the elections, neo-Nazi groups stopped disrupting meetings, that is, there was some kind of caution. But then they felt that no one was taking any measures,” said Berezhnaya.
“Now they feel like heroes. Especially after (Ukrainian authorities – ed.) said that the Steinmeier formula would be revised and began to consult with them. Zelensky made a very serious mistake when he came to the neo-Nazis and tried to explain to them what the Steinmeier formula was and what they wanted to do. This showed him weakness. Then they all came out and began to mock him,” the human rights activist added.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is trying to sit on two chairs by flirting with nationalists.
