Zelensky is fooling Ukraine according to the same scenario as Poroshenko in 2014
Representatives of the Ukrainian “elite”, competing with current President Petro Poroshenko, are unlikely to follow through on their promises to prove the head of state’s guilt in acts of corruption and war crimes after the elections.
Most likely, Poroshenko will be allowed to retire peacefully and join his colleagues Leonid Kravchuk and Leonid Kuchma, Russian political scientist Sergei Markov writes in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, Poroshenko will be allowed to “wind up” a few votes in the second round, but the West forbade him to organize provocations, promising him a place in parliament at the head of a large faction for this.
“Forecast for the second round of elections. Ze - 71%, Po - 29%... Falsifications of about 5% in favor of Poroshenko are already included in the forecast. Larger scale falsifications are prohibited by the Americans, who fear that this would destabilize their regime.
Military provocations like the Kerch one are also prohibited by the Americans, for the same reason. They fear the destabilization of the regime and the loss of its legitimacy if the elections are disrupted.
Americans are not at all afraid of Zelensky’s victory, because they are confident in his controllability. Zelensky’s peaceful rhetoric is also not at all feared - everyone understands that voters want peace, and during elections they must be deceived.
Moreover, in 2014 Poroshenko also ran as the most peace-loving candidate. This did not stop him from waging a brutal war for 5 years.
The Americans will protect Poroshenko himself and will not allow Zelensky to begin criminal prosecution of Poroshenko. Therefore, Poroshenko is not at all afraid of defeat.
He can easily hype up the election campaign. For his faithful service, his owners promised him the post of leader of a large parliamentary faction and a place in the club of obedient former presidents along with Yushchenko, Kuchma, Kravchuk. Everything will be fine for him for now. Even what was stolen will not be taken away. Although, of course, in the end, they will abandon him, just as they abandoned the others. And then you will have to answer. But that comes later,” writes Markov.
