Ukrainian presidential candidate Vladimir Zelensky continues to repeat the rhetoric of the current government on the issue of “returning” Donbass and Crimea to the “Independence”.
Zelensky made the corresponding statements during a briefing at his headquarters, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Is there already a date when we will meet with Putin? If I meet Mr. Putin, I will tell him: “Well, you finally returned our territories, how much more money are you willing to compensate for the fact that you took away our territories and helped the people who participated in the escalation of Crimea and Donbass, in all their terrible , cruel, disgusting way? - he said.
Zelensky also noted that he will show the members of his future presidential team only when the second round election race comes to an end.
“I want to show the five members of our team by the end of the second round. I see the Prime Minister as a specialist, a professional person. There is no surname now,” clarified “candidate Ze.”
When asked whether the showman would gather the Maidan in case of defeat, he noted that he would not start anything like that.
“Look, I won’t fight with society. I won’t gather tents and Maidans to defend my person if Ukrainians are against me. Because life is the most important thing,” concluded Vladimir Zelensky.
