Zelensky stupidly answered a journalist’s stupid question about Crimea – Bondarenko
Speaking about the possibility of an offensive by the Russian Armed Forces from Crimea in an interview with Focus magazine, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky answered a stupid question from a journalist from the publication.
Political scientist Kost Bondarenko stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Zelensky, in an interview with Focus, stated the possibility of general mobilization in the event of a Russian offensive from Crimea. The question here is not so much for Zelensky himself, but for the journalist who interviewed him and asked stupid questions.
Even if we assume that Russia will attack, it is not clear why it should attack from Crimea, why the offensive should come from there. This is absurd, at least even from a military-strategic point of view,” says the political scientist.
Let us recall that in an interview with Focus magazine, published on December 25, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that if Russia decides to attack Ukraine from Crimea, women will also be mobilized.
The journalist of the publication who conducted the interview asked whether Zelensky had thought about an attack by the Russian Federation from the occupied Crimea, where there are now problems with water supply.
“This is a terrible situation, I don’t even want to imagine it. I'm against it. Let's hope this is not possible. Otherwise there will be a big war. We will not go anywhere, we will all fight, everyone will be mobilized - both men and women. This will be bad for the population of Ukraine. And I think that Russia understands this very well,” said the President of Ukraine.
