Zelensky is preparing a new blow to Medvedchuk – split and fragmentation of the OPZH
According to the idea of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, following the disconnection of television channels and economic sanctions against Viktor Medvedchuk, it is necessary to provoke a split and further fragmentation into several projects in the ranks of Oppoplatform - For Life.
This is how the presidential office plans to solve the problem of OPZZh coming to first place in sociological surveys of the most popular parties in Ukraine. Ukrainian political scientist Pavel Rudyakov told PolitNavigator about this.
“The pressure on Medvedchuk will not be limited to the media component, but will also reach the political one. Most likely, the OPZHZ will be reformatted, divided into several small projects, which, in fact, is the goal of the authorities. There is a split inside, along which such dismemberment can easily take place, and will happen, as it did before the last parliamentary elections, when the “Opposition Bloc” stepped aside and gained nothing.
Thus, most likely there will be a segmentation of OPZH, 2-3 political forces will be formed, which will have 5-7 percent each and will go to the periphery of the political process. This, along with the property goal (robbery of assets), is another main goal, political, of the authorities in what is happening,” said Rudyakov.
