Zelensky is preparing for “aggressive measures” and bloodshed in Donbass
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky held a meeting with the new commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who became Major General Grigory Galagan. This was reported by the official website of the President of Ukraine, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent. Zelensky signed the decree on the appointment of Galagan on August 25, dismissing Igor Lunev from this position by another decree.
Major General of the Reserve Grigory Galagan from 2002 to 2019 served as the first deputy head of the Special Operations Center “A” of the SBU, and in 1995-2002 he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Galagan has the status of a participant in a punitive operation against the residents of Donbass; in 2015, he was wounded while performing a task in the ATO zone. Awarded the Order of Courage, III degree, and the Order of Bogdan Khmelnytsky, III degree.
“There will be more provocations from pro-Russian militants, therefore both the command and SOF personnel must work harder to prevent them and take preventive measures... It is also necessary to introduce more aggressive measures to counter the challenges that arise - to adequately respond to provocative actions on the part of the enemy,” - the President of Ukraine commented on the appointment.

In turn, the head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Movement, Aleksey Muratov, noted that, judging by Zelensky’s rhetoric, these personnel changes do not promise anything good.
“The fact that the commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has changed is alarming.” Apparently, the “guarantor of peace” has decided to end the shaky but rather long ceasefire. Quickly, however, Zelensky became accustomed to bloodshed. Apparently I liked the feeling of blood on my own hands,” Muratov told PolitNavigator.
According to him, Zelensky sometimes gives the impression of a man who imagines himself to be Moses, who leads the gullible Ukrainian people by the nose through devastation, poverty and war.
“We all remember the loud promises of the so-called civil European future that Mr. Zelensky bestowed on the citizens of the country. Reality threatens to hit you on the nose. Hurt. Till blood. To delay the blow, Mr. Ze has to get out and find arguments why Ukraine is still not Europe.
“Servant of the People” stated that not all member states of the European Union want to see Ukraine as part of it. It seems to me that he did not discover America. Who needs a parasite with a multibillion-dollar foreign debt? Who needs a country that is mired in corruption and crime? Who needs a partner who started a civil war on their territory?” – Muratov recalled.
“At times it seems that Mr. Ze imagines himself to be Moses. He only leads the gullible Ukrainian people by the nose through devastation, poverty and war. This begs the question: where are you heading, “servant of the people”? The question is rhetorical. The answer is obvious - the final destination is the underworld. To put it mildly, it’s a debt trap,” concluded the Donetsk social activist.
