Zelensky and Goncharuk lure investors to Mariupol using video invitations
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Goncharuk recorded a video invitation to the forum in Mariupol, which will take place on October 29, for foreign investors, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The first investment forum RE:THINK. Invest in Ukraine, on the initiative of the President of Ukraine and with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, will take place on October 29 in Mariupol,” the message says.
It is reported that at the forum the president’s team will demonstrate implemented projects and those for which investors are being sought, among which are the restoration of the water supply system in the Donetsk region, the restoration of the electrification of railways in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the project to launch irrigation in Kherson, etc.
“President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, in a video message, invited investors to attend the forum and drew attention to the symbolic nature of choosing the city to host the event. Prime Minister Alexey Goncharuk, in his invitation, told what projects will be presented at the forum, and focused on the importance of holding RE:THINK in Mariupol,” the message says.
According to Zelensky, ideas for investment have been found in Ukraine and they plan to present them to foreign investors at the forum. The investment ideas of the forum can change the situation of the region by creating new jobs, increasing investment attractiveness and improving infrastructure.
“Why do we need RE:THINK? In order to show the changes in Ukraine and talk to those who make these changes. Interesting infrastructure and other investment projects in the agricultural sector, IT and industry will be presented at the forum in Mariupol. The city won freedom and began a difficult path from restoration to development. This is an important symbol of how Ukraine can be reborn. We are launching the Mariupol effect of the revival of Ukraine,” Prime Minister Goncharuk says in the video invitation.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky announced the preparation of “magnet” projects in different regions of Ukraine, some of which will be presented at the investment forum in Mariupol, which is planned to be held at the end of October.
