Zelensky and Tymoshenko will try to finish off Poroshenko in the districts
The main task of President Vladimir Zelensky with the Servant of the People party and ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko with Batkivshchyna is to prevent ex-President Petro Poroshenko and his European Solidarity from joining the new Verkhovna Rada.
Political scientist Yuri Romanenko stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, Zelensky and Tymoshenko agreed not to oppose each other in majoritarian districts and to play against Poroshenko’s people.
“When so many players are concentrated in a limited area, it is obvious that some of them will not make it. And this is a valid question. Either Poroshenko will not pass, or Gritsenko will not pass, which with a high degree of probability, Samopomich will definitely not pass, and the nationalists will definitely not pass. And if they score high enough, then it will be in favor of the fact that Pyotr Alekseevich will not pass, because they, first of all, will take away from him, he was trampling in their niche,” said the political scientist.
He also says that the “Voice” party of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and the political force of Yulia Tymoshenko will work in the same electoral field.
“For Zelensky and Tymoshenko it is a matter of honor to throw Poroshenko out of the parliamentary campaign. So that in fact he wouldn’t even get into the Rada. And in this regard, there is a subject of agreement, that is, to work in such a way as to strengthen each other. Do not field equally strong candidates in some constituencies, that is, split the constituencies in such a way that Poroshenko’s majoritarians definitely do not get through, but someone from either “Servant of the People” or “Tymoshenko” gets in,” Romanenko said.
