Zelensky follows the path of Poroshenko - Pasechnik
Today, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is exactly repeating the path of his predecessor Petro Poroshenko - he came to power with a huge amount of trust, made many promises, but did not fulfill any of them.
The head of the Lugansk People's Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, stated this on the air of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company LPR channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In order to answer the question about Vladimir Zelensky’s promises regarding Donbass, we need to take an excursion into history and consider the rise to power and formation of the previous President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko. He won the elections by the same margin and received enormous confidence from the people. He promised a lot, but did nothing of what he promised. And he ended his “glorious” path, probably even closer to that with an anti-rating.
What's happening now? Vladimir Zelensky came to power in the same way, with a fairly serious lead over his competitors. The trust of the people is enormous, there is a lot of promise, you see and hear it all.
In principle, today Vladimir Zelensky has every chance to bring peace to Ukraine and begin to build a developed, free, democratic Ukraine. How it will all end is very difficult to answer, because there are a lot of promises. But to date, none of them have been fulfilled,” said the head of the LPR.
Let us note that despite Vladimir Zelensky’s promises to end the war, shelling of Donbass continues, and Kyiv began to gather troops to the line of contact, which can be identified as preparation for an escalation of the armed conflict.
