Zelensky wants a “country in a smartphone” and sends everyone to “Misha Fedorov”
President Vladimir Zelensky and his team are launching the online project “Lift” from May 27, which will allow those wishing to present their ideas on the digitalization of the state, reports a PolyTnavigator correspondent.
Vladimir Zelensky and his adviser Mikhail Fedorov stated this at the iForum conference on Internet technologies in Kyiv, addressing the audience in Russian.
“We want to really make the country in a smartphone. Government in a smartphone. Guys, it's time to do it. We can’t cope without you,” Zelensky said.
“And the introduction of four levels: information about the state - first, communication with the state - second, transactions with the state - third, involvement in government management - fourth,” he added.
According to Zelensky, it would be great on the way to work to be able to control what bills are being submitted and how to supplement them, “which dudes are elected,” what petitions are submitted, and so on.
“I really dream about our country in a smartphone. And so that we can be the first in the world, bypassing this stage that is in the world today and which is difficult to catch up with,” the president said.
“I will never cope with this on my own, but we can do it. And if anyone has ideas and suggestions, contact Misha Fedorov,” he said.
Mikhail Fedorov continued: “We want to create an open social elevator, when a person without any layers of government, deputies, acquaintances, mothers, fathers, sisters and uncles can get into the team and implement a real project.”
“We found a systemic solution. This Monday we are launching the “Elevator” project, where each person will be able to leave a resume about themselves, apply for a vacancy in our team, share ideas and send the finished product,” he said.
This online project will be assigned a separate structure that will analyze the information, provide feedback, and it will implement this in key departments “without much bureaucracy and bypassing everything else.”
“Starting Monday, you will be able to present all your ideas related to IT,” Fedorov concluded.
