Zelensky liquidated the presidential administration and cut his office officials
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is creating the Office of the President by reorganizing and reducing the number of employees of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Create the Office of the President of Ukraine by reorganizing and reducing the number of employees of the Administration of the President of Ukraine. The Office of the President of Ukraine is a permanent subsidiary body, the main task of which is organizational, legal, advisory, informational, expert-analytical and other support for the exercise by the President of Ukraine of the powers determined by the Constitution of Ukraine,” says Zelensky’s decree No. 417/2019 of June 20.
Ukrainian lawyer Andrei Portnov drew attention to the fact that such a decision by the president automatically removes from the agenda the issue of the inconsistency of the appointment of lawyer Andrei Bogdan as head of the Presidential Administration with the lustration law, since the body that Bogdan now heads does not fall under this law.
“The Head of State liquidated the Presidential Administration by Decree and created the Office of the President. The issue of extending the lustration law to the leaders of the presidential team is no longer an issue,” Portnov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that Zelensky intends to move his administration to the former Lenin Museum, and to establish a public museum with an art gallery on Bankovaya.
