“Zelensky is a liar!” – In the Lugansk region they said goodbye to the victim of Ukrainian shelling
In the LPR, a farewell ceremony was held for serviceman Vitaly Sorokin, who died as a result of mortar shelling by Ukrainian militants in the village of Zhelobok on January 29.

The funeral event took place in the central square of the city of Kirovsk with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the LPR, the chairman of the Special Commission for recording and collecting evidence of crimes of the military-political leadership of Ukraine Anna Soroka, representatives of the administration, public and veteran organizations, military personnel and ordinary residents of the city.
After the memorial service and mourning meeting, participants honored the memory of the deceased defender of the Republic with a minute of silence.
“The death of Vitaly Sorokin is a great loss and loss for all of us, for loved ones and relatives, comrades and colleagues.
His murder once again proves that Ukrainian President Zelensky is a liar. Promising peace, he, as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, gives orders for shelling of Donbass, leading to the destruction of houses and the death of our people. Literally in the last two days, as a result of such criminal orders from Zelensky, a defender of the Republic was killed and two civilians were wounded,” said LPR People’s Militia Colonel Yan Leshchenko.
43-year-old Vitaly Sorokin will be buried on the Walk of Fame at the central cemetery of Kirovsk.
