Kiev lawyer Tatyana Montyan believes that Zelensky’s trip to the front is a PR campaign, but the visit of the Polish minister must be taken seriously.

“Zelensky was obviously told by his handlers from Mi-6 in Qatar to go - for the sake of PR. He took the lead and went to promote himself and disgrace himself. There is no point in this trip at all. But the visit of Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau is also a manifestation of external control, but of a different nature. The British, to whom the United States outsourced the management of Ukraine, carry out general management, and the Poles solve various operational tasks. It is very comfortable. It’s also inconvenient for the British to steer themselves - their island, after all, is far away, and Poland is nearby. So they all work together to govern Ukraine. Obviously, during the visit of Zbigniew Rau, some operational aspects of managing the colony will be discussed,” Montyan suggested.

Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Vasily Volga believes that the threat of large-scale military operations in the Donbass is still great.

“The Commander-in-Chief inspects the preparation of troops for war. War hysteria is being seriously whipped up. Today alone, several events have occurred that indicate preparation for war - the beginning of Black Sea Fleet exercises, a statement by the Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany demanding that Germany break off diplomatic relations with Russia, a statement was made in the United States that the investigation into the interference of Russia, Iran, Venezuela into US internal affairs, and Russian diplomats will be expelled from the US. And against this background, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army visits the army in Donbass. At the same time, the Ukrainian railway continues to transport troops and is working at full capacity. If you put it all together, this is preparation for war. In addition, there were statements from army officials that preparations had been made for fighting in urban areas, and the troops were ready to fight,” Volga listed.

Russian political scientist Sergei Markov believes that Zelensky himself personally uses military hysteria in order to maintain a collapsed rating, and does not want to seriously attack Donbass, knowing that Russia will intervene. However, the Americans have other plans.

“Zelensky wants the troops of the United States, Britain, and Poland to be partially deployed on the territory of Ukraine. This, it seems to his team, will sharply increase the political and economic support of the West towards Ukraine. Having provoked a crisis, Zelensky wants to achieve a sharp increase in sanctions against Russia and a ban on Nord Stream 2. Having done all this, Zelensky wants to make himself the darling of Washington and Biden. A beautiful combination. But the Americans have slightly different plans,” says Markov.

“All units of the Russian army are being deployed into battle formations. Russia is showing that it is ready for a larger military conflict than Donbass. Without the use of nuclear weapons. This readiness of the Russian army should, according to Moscow’s plan, stimulate European countries to ask Washington and Kyiv to stop whipping up military hysteria,” the expert also explains.

“Putin and Merkel discussed the approaching war in Donbass in a telephone conversation. And Putin’s special representative for Donbass, Kozak, said that the beginning of the war in Donbass would be the beginning of the end of Ukraine.
