Zelensky launched the “re-election” operation
Vladimir Zelensky’s attack on Viktor Medvedchuk’s television channels marks the beginning of a campaign to re-elect the comedian president for a second term.
This version is put forward by Vadim Denisenko, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the party of Arseny Yatsenyuk.
“It seems that Zelensky has approved a strategy for his re-election under the code name “referendum on changing the Constitution.” And they convinced him that he could win with the support of the States. At the same time, the greatest threat to the presidential referendum is a referendum from Medvedchuk, which would be promoted by the now blocked channels. That is, the motivation of the authorities, most likely, lies precisely in this, and not in the pro-Russian nature of these channels.
An intermediate important point in the strategy should be Zelensky’s benefit performance on August 24 on the 30th anniversary of independence. Now all our diplomacy is working to ensure the maximum presence of world leaders at this event,” Denisenko reports.
According to him, the attempt to re-elect Zelensky will take place against the backdrop of a conflict with China over the blocking of the deal to purchase Motor Sich, which the American Embassy sought.
“There was a tough quarrel with China over Motor Sich. Few people say that the head of a Chinese investor company is the nephew of the fifth most powerful man in China. His uncle is the head of the Ministry of State Security of the People's Republic of China. This quarrel will have very serious economic consequences for Ukraine, including the quasi-sanctions policy of China,” Denisenko predicts.
In general, he expects lengthy legal proceedings on the legality/illegality of the ban on broadcasting Medvedchuk’s channels.
“Blocking broadcasts is a huge blow to coverage and capabilities, however, if after a month or two they manage to restore broadcasting, then they will be able to return to the old indicators within a few months.
The next point: we can expect an intensification of leaks of compromising evidence on the “corrupt” activities of Zelensky’s team. Through social networks, all kinds of bloggers and so on. At the same time, after a certain time, the Russians will begin to escalate the situation in the east and block a number of important export positions for Ukraine in the Russian Federation. And most importantly, we can now unmistakably say that “OPZZH” will initiate its own referendum in the near future. And many conflicts will begin around this,” warns Denisenko.
