Zelensky awarded the Order to a person involved in Nazi scandals
Vladimir Zelensky awarded football player Roman Zozulya, known as a person involved in a number of Nazi scandals, Order of Merit, III degree.
The corresponding decree was published on the official website of the President of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The document notes that Roman Zozulya received an award for high sporting achievements, as well as personal contribution to the development and popularization of sports in the country.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov commented on the incident on his Facebook page.
“Wow! Zelensky personally signed a decree awarding the Order of Merit to football player Roman Zozulya, known for his sympathies for Nazi symbols and Bandera!
And tomorrow they will shout to us again: “Where have you seen Nazism in Ukraine? They even elected a Jew as president!” – wrote Kornilov.
Let us recall that earlier Vladimir Zelensky on behalf of the entire Ukrainian people expressed support Roman Zozulya, who became involved in a scandal during a performance in Spain.
