Zelensky is heading for war - Moscow warned
Ukrainian propaganda in recent days has begun to re-introduce the idea of an inevitable military victory in the Donbass and the entry of the Ukrainian Armed Forces onto the borders with Russia.
A member of the Russian Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Senator Oleg Morozov, drew attention to this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Recently, the rhetoric around Donbass has become much more aggressive and bloodthirsty than it was some time ago. I see a great danger in this. I admit that this is not being done at the behest of the authorities. Judging by what is happening in this room (“OOS”, formerly “ATO” – editor’s note.) – they simply do not obey Zelensky or anyone. These gangs, which supposedly represent Ukraine there, actually do not obey anyone and act independently,” the politician noted.
“But the question is different. In all this rhetoric, the theme of military victory, a military solution to this conflict arose: “We will take Donbass and reach the border with Russia and beyond.” If this rhetoric, God forbid, turns into military action, then I think this will be the last thing this government and the Armed Forces of Ukraine will do.
Because the next military defeat that Ukraine will suffer here, and this is a war with an armed people, will be the last blow to this government, including Zelensky,” the senator concluded.
