“Ukraine needs modern missile defense systems. Deliveries of such systems were possible this year, last year, and even earlier. Have we received them? No. Are they necessary? Yes,” the appeal says.

According to Zelensky, there have already been 2606 affirmative answers to this question in the form of various Russian cruise missiles that have struck Ukrainian cities since February 24.

“This is a life that could have been saved, this is a tragedy that could have been prevented if Ukraine had been listened to,” Zelensky laments.
