Zelensky called Tomos cool and piquant
Ukrainian presidential candidate, showman Vladimir Zelensky, considers church autocephaly important for the country.
He told reporters about this in Ternopil, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Tomos is great. For me, faith and religion are different things. This is such a juicy question when everyone wants to talk to God the way they want. But the tomos is for Ukraine... If the country, since gaining independence, has worked hard to ensure that there is a tomos, then I congratulate all of Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
From his words we can conclude that he regards the tomos as moral compensation for the loss of Crimea and Donbass.
“It’s cool when we gain something and don’t lose something like territories. We need to take everything. This is what we have by nature. We need to return everything we had. I think this is possible,” Zelensky said.
