Zelensky does not listen to the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is driving troops into cauldrons - is a coup possible?
President Vladimir Zelensky is trying his best to fulfill Washington's goal of inflicting maximum damage on Russia at the cost of destroying Ukraine.
The participants of the broadcast on the Zvezda TV channel spoke about this, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It seems to me that Zelensky is trying to buy time, he is setting political goals for himself. For him, it is important to inflict as much damage as possible on Russia and its advancing troops, and accordingly ensure the fulfillment of the goals that Western countries have set for him. For Zaluzhny (commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - ed.), a purely army function is important - to preserve personnel, equipment, level the front line, avoid cauldrons, so there is a conflict between them.
Not really a show. Ukraine itself was supposed to be the state that should inflict maximum damage on Russia. It is clear that it cannot win against Russia, but it can somehow bleed it, make it more accommodating politically, globally, to achieve compromises, as an instrument,” said Russian political scientist Bogdan Bezpalko.
FAN special correspondent Abbas Juma noted that Zaluzhny bears the blame for all the mistakes of the Ukrainian leadership.
“As for the conflict between Zaluzhny and Zelensky. The conflict began neither yesterday nor the day before. Everything was leading up to today, that is, to making Zaluzhny a scapegoat. Of course, Zaluzhny wildly did not want this, did not want it. It infuriates him that he is being made a scapegoat, although the mistakes are not his, but those of politicians, PR people and other showmen. Will there be a revolution or not? Here I cannot be unambiguous, I doubt it, because for this there must be a push from the outside,” the expert said.
