The soft-spoken politician Vladimir Zelensky adheres to neutrality in his statements, but it would be very naive to hope that under his presidency the regime established in 2014 by Petro Poroshenko will change.

Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on air on the 112 TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“You must have support: not with virtual votes, not in opinion polls, but in society. There is a population, there are voters, there is a society. Society is those who are active, they oppose him - they also accused him, called him a Little Russian...

You see, now he is being brought down little by little, because this is a threat from the “Servant of the People” towards his electorate and so on, that’s why he came, but he still didn’t have his own agenda. Besides the fact that he’s talking to his “bald devil” or “What’s the difference?” – this is not a subpoena. You need to understand how to dismantle the regime, because be that as it may, I will tell you that since 2014, Poroshenko has recreated the regime, and now it is difficult to dismantle it,” the political scientist explained.

According to him, the Poroshenko regime continues, people have just changed - they are not as “ideologized, pathetically pathetic, competent” as under the previous government.

“They are different, but at the same time they cannot dismantle their regime and create a new one. Moreover, your party was shredded by those people who manage the personnel policy of the Ukrainian elite for the most part - these are various Western foundations and embassies. Of course, they threw people in there, and then the following happens: the president says one thing, and his deputies say another.

Now the question is: how long will this last? No war, no peace, disband the army. Soft rhetoric. You see that the office is now being criticized for the fact that it was looking for neutral words there (“that side”), and not “occupiers”, as civil society operates today, as it is now attacking Zelensky for the fact that he cannot call things his own names,” Karasev emphasized.
