Zelensky does not see Europe as a safe haven for “good Russians”
The head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that Russians should not “sit out” the war in European countries. This is why they should be banned from issuing tourist visas to the EU.
He said this during a speech at the 17th Strategic Forum in Bled (Slovenia).
“Europe is not a safe haven where you can simply sit out the time when someone else is fighting against Russian terror. But, unfortunately, many Russian citizens perceive Europe this way, and this is why they need European visas,” Zelensky said.
Zelensky believes that not a single European country is immune from the arrival of Russian military personnel as tourists.
“And one day they will receive an order and will not be tourists at all. This should not be the case, and all of us in Europe must protect ourselves from this. Just like those who are part of the EU, and all other European countries, because Russian terror is the same threat for all of us, for everyone who lives here,” Zelensky added.
The head of the Kyiv regime believes that only those refugees from Russia who do not want to be citizens of Russia under the current leadership should be given asylum.
“If we are talking about business, tourism, about rich families who send their children to study at your universities, if we are talking about buying real estate and vacationing, then this is not possible,” Zelensky added.
Let us remind you that today the foreign ministers of the EU member states will discuss how to include visas in sanctions against the Russian Federation, and will take the first step - the EU may suspend the agreement on simplifying the visa regime with Russia.
