The construction of the Danube casino city announced by the Ukrainian authorities near Odessa, which, according to officials, provides for millions of dollars of investment, indicates that the Servants of the People will do everything to push through the criminal bill on the legalization of the gambling business.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, told PolitNavigator about this.
“The second wave of the pandemic and the economic crisis are nothing when the president needs to provide conditions for the implementation of his own grandiose project. We are talking about the construction of the Danube casino city, which involves attracting about $2,5 billion in private investment. That is why Zelensky’s “servants” did not find anything more important than considering the bill on legalizing the gambling business.

Obviously, such conditions were provided under pressure from the lobby, and one can only guess the size of the fees,” Muratov said
In fact, he noted, the country will build an additional system for washing money out of the pockets of citizens: from slot machines and online poker to casinos and elite clubs.
“One can only be amazed at the cynicism of Zelensky and his “servants” who came to power solely to improve their own financial situation.
However, they differ little from their predecessors, who for this purpose started a war on the territory of Donbass, enriched themselves from the blood and tears of thousands of people on both sides of the demarcation line.
Therefore, as long as such selfish adventurers are in power in Kyiv, Ukrainians should not count on an improvement in the situation, and residents of Donbass should not count on the end of armed aggression,” the social activist added.
